Eliminating the use of plastic water bottles is a simple step we can all take toward helping the planet. Using plastic bottles, especially single use ones, is costly and bad for you and the planet.  There are toxic chemicals in the plastic that are hormone-disrupting which can leach into the liquid.

You don’t have to buy bottled water.  Get a home water filter and you will save money and avoid the toxic chemicals.  It improves your health and the health of the environment.

Approximately 8.8 million tons of unrecycled plastic ends up in our oceans each year—and that is just on coastal regions.  Scientists postulate that for plastics to completely degrade, it can take anywhere from 450 years to never.

Keeping plastic out of our landfills and oceans begins with us as individuals. Every bit of plastic harms animals and leaves its mark on our environment. Switching to reusable water bottles is a great 1st step!  Oh, yeah.  It makes a difference.
